Elsevier Workshop: Latest Developments in Scientific Publishing

This workshop is structured in two main themes:

• First, it addresses the authors’ journey to publish their article to an academic journal, with a focus on the most common ethical pitfalls of submitting researchers and Generative AI in scientific writing and publishing.
• Second, it looks at the researchers’ path from author to journal editor. It describes the role of the journal editor, typical editor responsibilities, editorial roles in journals and how to become a journal editor.

The workshop is addressed to early career researchers, as well as senior researchers.
